The stone reliefs of mythical creatures were created for the Rodik Mythical Park Visitor Center. The permanent exhibition in the center features illustrations by Lara Jeranko Marconi. The illustrations of the two main characters (Baba and Lintver) as well as the gnome and the giant from Ajdovščina above Rodik served as the basis for creating the reliefs. Naturally, there are some differences between the illustrations and the stone reliefs, as each medium has its own characteristics, which made this project an enjoyable challenge for me.

Before the figures found their permanent place on the facade of the Visitor Center, they were hiding around the workshop like this.

The Rodik Mythical Park is a project in which I was involved between 2018 and 2020. My task was to design stone trail markers and sculptures based on the mythical traditions of the village. Together with a team of twenty experts, graduates, and students from VSŠ Sežana, we created 13 trail markers, 28 sculptures, and a conceptual spatial arrangement that, at twelve points along the walking and cycling route, introduces visitors to the landscape-related folk traditions.
