Disintegration, 2022

Placing acid in an intravenous set leads to a contradiction: the fluid, which is intended to keep someone or something alive or to heal, is, in this case, dissolving, damaging, and destroying. The entire process can be observed in a small, improvised laboratory. Drops of acid dripping onto the surface of the stone cause a reaction that slowly dissolves the material, turning it into a sandy slurry.

It was on display at the Academy POSITIONS Art Fair in Berlin from September 15th to 18th, 2022.
